Susie A Raynolds

Susie Alice Raynolds, 92, died on Saturday June 30, 2018 at the Centennial Homestead Nursing Home.  Susie was born in Nail, Arkansas on July 29th, 1925 to Thomas and Fuchsia Bauer.  She is survived by her sister H. Marie Daniels, her brother John Viney, six children and eight grandchildren.  Susie grew up during the Great Depression and WW II.  After the war she married Jerrold F. Simpson in Neosho, Missouri and had 4 children.  Susie and Jerrold divorced and she later married Merlin Peck in Nevada, they had one child.  Susie and Merlin divorced and she married Ray Raynolds, they had one child.  Susie was a talented dancer and worked as a dealer in Nevada for many years.  Later in life she managed mobile home parks or small storage units until she retired.  Later she moved to Washington, Kansas to be near a granddaughter and grandson and resided at the Centennial Homestead.  Susie was active and alert until the last few weeks of her life when age and time finally caught up to her, she passed away peacefully.  She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.A funeral service will be held at a later date as she is remembered by her family and friends.  Our thanks to all of the kind and gentle folks at the Centennial Homestead for their care and attention to our family during this time.  Susie made a profession of her faith to accept Jesus as her Lord and Savior; there is no better assurance known by anyone as to what is, or is to be, the most important event in all our lives.
