Nancy Jo Heiman

Nancy Jo Heiman, 85, died Saturday, April 18, 2026 at the Linn Community Nursing Home in Linn.

Nancy was born November 2, 1940 in Osborne, KS to John and Evelyn (Hobbie) Snedden. She grew up in Beloit and graduated from Beloit Jr./Sr. High School.

She married Wesley Loomis and they had three children. They later divorced. She later was married to Eddie Heiman and they had three children. They later divorced. Nancy worked for a few years as a CNA at Hilltop Lodge and then went to work at the local 5 & 10 store for several years. She moved to Belvidere and worked as a ranch secretary at Anchor D Ranch until moving to Hartville, MO where she lived for 17 years. After her health declined, she moved to Linn in 2019.

Preceding her in death were her parents; granddaughter, Sacha Loomis; and brothers, JD, Frank and Larry Snedden.

Survivors include her children, Wes (Cheryle) Loomis Jr., Scotland, SD, Cynthia Loomis-Kinney, St. Ann, MO, Bruce (Kelly) Loomis, Hermitage, MO, Karen (Kirt) Hanson, Ankey, IA, Karl (Jami) Heiman, David City, NE and Marsha (Kevin) Richardson, Linn; seventeen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

A private service will take place in Beloit, KS.

A memorial fund is established in her name and will be designated later. Contributions may be sent in care of Ward Funeral Home, Washington, KS.
