John Franklin Davenport

John Franklin Davenport, 83, Washington, died Sunday, May 24, 2026 at the Community Memorial Health Center in Marysville.

Frank was born January 13, 1943 in Lincoln, NE to John B. and Mary (Stevens) Davenport. He attended public school in Lincoln graduating from Lincoln High School. After graduation he joined the Navy, retiring after twenty years. He then owned a fishing dock and resort for several years in Tennessee. After that, Frank worked for several campsights before returning to Lincoln. He moved to Washington three years ago.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors include his brother, Jim Davenport and wife, Frances; and nieces, Dawn Kramer and Christy (Mike) Riley, all of Washington.

A service for Frank will be held at a later time.

A memorial fund is established and will be designated later. Contributions may be sent in care of Ward Funeral Home, Washington.
