Harold Duane Myers, 79, Washington, died Monday, April 27, 2020 at his home. A private graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 8 at the Morrowville Cemetery. Social distancing must be practiced. The service will be broadcast on the Ward Funeral Home Facebook page. Please sign the guestbook and leave condolences here on the online register book. Harold was born July 2, 1940, southwest of Morrowville, the 5th child of Harold and Florence (Mahoney) Myers. He lived his life in Washington County, except for a year he spent in Colorado and time he was stationed in Vietnam, serving his country as a soldier in the U.S. Army. Harold farmed and worked for Kuhlman Motors in Washington for several years. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, LaVern Myers and Jim Myers; sisters, Fern Barnard and Mary Lou O'Bleness; nieces, Gwen O'Bleness, Patricia O'Bleness, and Tammy Myers; and nephews, Virgil Barnard in infancy and Vernon Barnard. Survivors include his sister, Geneva (Myers) Hiltgen, Mankato; twelve nieces and four nephews and several great nieces and nephews. A memorial fund is established and will be designated later.
