Brian M. Lynch

Brian Matthew Lynch, 49, Barnes, died Monday, September 17, 2018, at his home. Visitation was 5 to 8 p.m., Friday, September 21, at Ward Funeral Home in Greenleaf. Sunday, September 23, a visitation was held from 2 to 4 p.m. at Grand Prairie Baptist Church, Auxvasse, Missouri. Graveside funeral service were Sunday, at 4:30 p.m., at Liberty Cemetery, Auxvasse, Missouri. Brian was born to John and Nancy (Stephens) Lynch on December 16, 1968 at Whidbey Island, Washington.  He grew up in Auxvasse, Missouri and graduated from North Calloway High School in 1987.  He attended Missouri University and Devry Technical College. On October 19, 2002, Brian married Maria Weeks at Las Vegas, Nevada.  Brian worked in construction and in 2014, moved to Barnes and worked in construction with his brother Stephen.  In his spare time, Brian liked to cook and have BBQ’s with family and friends.  He enjoyed gardening, flowers, golfing, fishing, mushroom hunting and just being outdoors. But his biggest joy he found, was in helping others. Preceding him in death was his mother, Nancy; and son, Joshua Lynch. Survivors include his wife, Maria; daughter, Samantha Nelson, Lawrence; father, John Lynch, Auxvasse, MO; brother, Stephen Lynch, Waterville; sister, Stephanie (John) Leverett, Auxvasse, MO; and several nieces and nephews.
