Bradley W. Prior

August 18, 1961 — September 4, 2020

Bradley Wayne Prior, 59, died Friday, September 4, 2020 at the Salina Regional Health Center, Salina. A Celebration of Life was held at the Washington First National Bank on September 20, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. for family and friends. The family remained after to visit and share memories. Pastor Ron Brown officiated. Bradley Wayne Prior was born August 18, 1961 to Wayne and Christa (Wieland) Prior at the Washington County hospital. In 1979, Bradley graduated from Washington High School. He attended Kansas State University and the University of Kansas as well as working at various manufacturing jobs locally. On August 17, 1991 he married Linda Borgerding and moved to Lawrence, KS where he worked at Allen Press. In 1996, he began his most important job of stay-at-home dad. The family moved back to the area in 1999 and settled in Hanover, KS to be closer to family. Bradley craved knowledge and truth and lived his life researching. He enjoyed going to auctions and thrift stores to find unique pieces for himself and others. His favorite question to ask when he met new people was, “Do you collect anything?” Brad loved to sing, often making up his own lyrics. He had a beautiful voice. He most enjoyed spending time with family and friends debating politics and religion, playing cards, and swapping stories. Of all the things he did, he was most committed to bringing those he loved closer to Yeshua. Preceding Bradley in death were his father, Wayne Garvin Prior and an infant brother Douglas Grant Prior. Bradley is survived by his wife; his mother, Christa Prior, Washington; six children, Taylor (Dannis) Collins, Lincoln, AL; Asa Prior, Washington; Ariana Prior, Emily Prior, Ella Prior, and Josiah Prior, Hanover; siblings Laura Prior, Greenleaf, Cameron (Kim) Prior, Wichita, and Quentin (Billie Jo) Prior, Deltona, FL; two grandchildren, Ty Collins and Ashton Collins; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial fund is established and will be designated later by the family. Contributions may be sent in care of Ward Funeral Home, Washington.
