Alma G. Tegethoff, 99, Mulvane, formerly of Washington, died Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at Villa Maria in Mulvane.
A funeral service was held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, December 17 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Washington. Pastor Jill Duis officiated. Sheila Ouellette was organist and the congregation sang “How Great Thou Art,” “The Old Rugged Cross” and “Silent Night.”
Burial was in Washington City Cemetery.
Alma was born in Marysville, KS on July 25, 1925 to George and Sarah (Paxton) Edgar. On July 20, 1943, she was united in marriage to Calvin Tegethoff in Greenleaf.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband Calvin; son James Tegethoff; and three sisters and five brothers.
Survivors include her son, Gary Tegethoff, Pasadena, TX; five grandchildren, two great grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren.
A memorial fund is established and will be designated later. Contributions may be sent in care of Ward Funeral Home, PO Box 157, Washington, KS 66968.
