Letha Pischer

August 2, 1928 — December 15, 2006

Letha M. Pischer was born in the family home on August 2, 1928 in Haddam, Kansas her parents were August and Zola Belle ‘Congleton’ Zenger. She was a homemaker, who raised her children with great enthusiasm and care. She died on December 15, 2006 at The Mountain Towers Health Care Center in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Letha’s survivors include: two sons Mark of Laramie, Wyoming and Randy of Fort Collins, Colorado; and a daughter Kerry Sprague or Wray, Colorado; four brothers John Zenger, Keith Zenger, Willard Zenger and Larry Zenger all of Haddam; Five sisters Martha Wilson of Amarillo, Texas, Stella Day of Belleville, Kansas, Ida Woodward of Independence, Missouri, Twila Stocker of Morrowville, Kansas, and Linda Corbin of Kentucky; Nine Grandchildren Jill and Alan Sprague, Wendy, Matt and Sydney Pischer, Jessica and Rory Pischer, Devyn and Ridge Pischer, and 9 Great Grand Children. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Harold Zenger, her husband “Bill” Pischer, and her granddaughter Sandra Jean Pischer. Memorial Service was held Saturday, January 6, 2007 at 10:30 am at the Ward Funeral Home, Washington. Pastor Phil Morris officiated. Inurnment was at the Haddam City Cemetery, Haddam.
