Carol D. Margaret Long

Carol D. Margaret Long, 74, of rural Linn, KS, passed away Saturday, February 20, 2010 at her home. A rosary service was held at 7:00 p.m., Friday, February 26 at Ward Funeral Home in Greenleaf. Burial was in St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery, Kimeo. Carol was born August 21, 1935 at Clay Center, the daughter of Earl and Margaret Mullen Depew. Survivors include her husband, Clarence Long of Linn; son, William Long and wife Trisha of Greenleaf; daughter, Deb Long and friend Jon of Greenleaf; two sisters, Gloria Hiltgen and husband Bob of Greenleaf, Patricia Rhodes and husband Doug of Independence, MO; brother, Kenneth Depew and his wife Ruth of Washington; eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Margaret Depew; sister, Teresa Clark; brother, Larry Depew; son, Michael Long in 2002; and grandson, Mikey Long in 2007. A memorial fund has been established and will be designated at a later date. Contributions may be sent in care of Ward Funeral Home.
