Pastor Walter Woods, 59, Haddam, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 27, 2006. Walter Holt Woods was born August 2, 1946 to Joseph and Elizabeth (Cameron) Woods at Willmington, NC. He was an avid reader and valued his Bible research books. In the last several years he had battled poor health but continued to serve the Lord with his pastoral duties as much as health would allow him. He had been cleaning the underside of the propped up garden tractor which gave way and fell on him, killing him instantly. He leaves to mourn his passing his beloved wife, Glenna and many, many relatives and friends. A graveside service will be held immediately following the service at the Patterson cemetery.
