Larry Gene Lehman, 72, Topeka, died September 15, 2016 at his home. Visitation was Tuesday, September 20 from 4 until 8 p.m. at Ward Funeral Home in Linn. The family received friends from 5 to 7 p.m. A funeral service was held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, September 21 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Linn. Rev. Tom Sahl officiated. Anita Singular played the organ while the congregation sang “Nearer My God to Thee” and “Precious Lord, Take My Hand”. The pallbearers were Kevin Weiche, Jeremy Hinkle, Scott Becker, James Stuenkel, Todd Rahe,Donald Lehman and Ramey Lehman. Burial was held at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Linn. Larry was born on December 27, 1943 and was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Linn. He was a member of the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, the Linn American Legion and the Shriner’s. He managed the Farmer’s Coop Elevator in Linn. Larry enjoyed collecting coins and attending auctions. Survivors include his two sisters, Anita (Rick) Weiche, Hanover, and LaVerna (Roger) Hinkle, Manhattan; brother, Ron (Reyne) Lehman, Manhattan; and several nieces and nephews.
