Jeffrey William Dusin, 53, Washington, died June 30, 2016 at the VA Hospital in Topeka, KS.  Visitation was Friday, July 22 from noon until 8 p.m. at Ward Funeral Home in Washington. A graveside service was 11 a.m., Saturday, July 23, 2016 at the Washington City Cemetery. Rev. Kevin Wood officiated. Jeff was born November 10, 1962 in Washington to William “Bill” and Connie (Rollman) Dusin. He served in the U.S. Army during Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm.Jeff was self-employed, working in Junction City and later in Louisiana with a friend for several years. After going thru Hurricane Katrina, he moved back to Kansas and worked for his uncle. He then worked at M & M Tire until he became ill and had to quit.He enjoyed fishing, helping others and spending time with family and friends.Preceding him in death was his father, Bill; maternal grandparents, Roy and Virginia Rollman; and paternal grandparents, August and Grace Dusin.Survivors include his mother, Connie Dusin; son, Brent Miller, Colorado Springs, CO; daughters, Randyl Miller, Topeka, and Dakota Rosenow, Cherokee, OK; brother, Kelly (Michelle) Dusin, Hayesville; and grandchildren, Julius Miller, Kayhlah Mares, and Elianna Nelson.A memorial fund is established and will be designated later.
