Ella S. Lohmeyer

Ella Sophia Lohmeyer, 92, died Sunday, December 18, 2005 at CLC Jefferson Manor, Jefferson, IA. She was a homemaker and sold Watkins Products. Ella was born October 2, 1913, to John and Frieda Tewes Uffman at Linn. She married Herman Lohmeyer on May 19, 1942 at Zion Lutheran Church, Linn. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Herman; and two brothers, Clarence Uffman and Paul Uffman. Ella is survived by a son, Leland Lohmeyer, Linn; four daughters, Ellanita Menz and husband Lynn, Jefferson, IA, Freda Howard and husband Daniel, Libby, MT, Eldana Kopecky, Jefferson, IA, Elvera Johnson and husband Jim, St Croix, IN; seven grandchildren; a brother Edgar Uffman, Washington; two sisters, Olga Lindhorst, Linn and Freda Bosse, Emporia. Funeral Service for Ella will be at the Zion Lutheran Church, Friday, December 23, 2005 at 10:30 am. Pastor David Gruoner will officiate. Burial will be in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery.
