Don Miller, 51, Great Bend, KS, died Friday, November 11, 2005 at St. Francis Hospital, Wichita, KS from complications of a sudden heart attack. He was born March 9, 1954, at Fairbury, NE, the son of Lester & Agnes (L’Ecuyer) Miller. Don graduated from North Central High School, Morrowville in 1972 and Kansas State University, Manhattan. Don has been a member of the Great Bend, KS community for the past two years, where he worked for the Center for Counseling. Previously, Don and wife Leisa of 20 years made their home in Campbellsville, KY, where he spent many years in the insurance business. Don was preceded in death by a foster daughter, Jennifer Atwood, from an automobile accident; his mother Agnes Miller; and an infant sister Audra Miller; grand father Joseph Miller and grandparents Patrick and Mary L’Ecuyer. He is survived by four daughters, Erin Miller, Burbank, CA, Jessica Parrish, Durham, NC, Juree Miller, Coffeyville, KS, Michelle Miller, Great Bend, KS; a son, Christopher Simons, WI; his father, Lester Miller Morrowville; three sisters, Jan Kastens and husband Al , Knoxville, TN, Marcia Westhoff and husband Roy, Great Bend, KS, Lisa Lindsley, Ellsworth, KS; grandmother, Mary Miller, Washington, KS; and 5 grandchildren. Funeral Service will be held, November 15, 2005, 10:30 am at St Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Morrowville. Father James Hoover and Sister Marilyn Wall will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, November 14, 2005 from 6 to 7 PM with a vigil service at 7:00 pm.
