In 1959, she graduated from Queen Anne High School in Seattle. On September 11, 1965 she was united in marriage to Donald Dodds at Coeur d’alene, Idaho. Sandra was a key punch operator and Don a payroll clerk. After having children, she was a stay at home mom. Having been an only child, holidays and special events were chaotic and fun events as compared to her childhood. Family was the center of activity. After moving to Kansas in the early 90’s, Sandy enjoyed attending the Dodds family reunions. Sandra joined the Latter Day Saints church with her husband in 1970 and was later sealed to him at the Provo, Utah Temple. She was very active in her church. She filled her life with reading, sewing, quilting, working in the Latter Day Saints Family History Center and family. While living in Kirwin, Sandra enjoyed the ladies quilting group, participating in completing several beautiful quilts. Survivors include her husband, Donald; four children, Stephanie Dodds and Dale (Kirsten) Dodds, all of Rochester, MN, Daniel (Sandra) Dodds, Glascow, KY, and Stacey (Jeff) Mowatt, Greene, NY; and thirteen grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents. To order memorial trees or send flowers to the family in memory of Sandra K. Dodds, please visit our flower store.
