Lanell Woolsey, 73, died Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at her home in Washington KS. A Funeral service was held December 27, in Cleburne, TX. Lanell was born on October 30, 1939 to William and Opal (Story) Cooley at Brownwood, Texas. She worked for Kellwood Manufacturing in Fairbury, NE as a seamstress and was a truck driver. Lanell was also a CNA. She liked to attend plays, sew, listen to Christian music and attend church. She also enjoyed playing the bass guitar in a country band for several years. Lanell was a member of the United Pentecostal of Promise in Beatrice NE. Preceding her in death were her parents; a son, Jack Stephens; and a daughter, Dana Woolsey. Lanell is survived by sons, Daniel Woolsey, Kenneth Stephens both of Washington, Glen Woolsey of Joshua, TX and their spouses; brother, Bill Cooley of Brownwood, TX; and eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
