Hildreth Hynek

HILDRETH HYNEK WASHINGTON – Hildreth V. Hynek 88, Washington, died Monday, March 28, 2005 at the Homestead Nursing Home in Washington. She was born February 18, 1917 to Guy H. and Lillie (Synovec) Mayberry at Morrowville. Hildreth attended Throop School. Hildreth married Lumer Hynek on June 26, 1935 in Clay Center, KS. He preceded her in death, on March 26, 2002. She was also preceded in death by her parents; and a great granddaughter. She is survived by a daughter, Marilyn Menke and husband Don, Washington; 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Funeral service was held at the Ward Funeral Home of Washington, Friday, April 1, 2005 at 2:00 pm. Pastor Clayton Portenier officiated. Burial was in the Morrowville Cemetery, Morrowville, KS. Casket bearers were, Philip Baker, Andy Baker, Rustin Nanninga, Jim Murphy, Darrell Portenier, Jim Dodds and Dale Miller. A memorial fund has been established in her name to be designated by the family at a later date.
