Pauline Eaton

Pauline Eaton, 78, died February 6, 2012 at her home in Barnes. A graveside funeral service was held 10 a.m., Thursday, February 9, 2012 at Maplewood Cemetery, Barnes. Susan Sawyer officiated. She was born on October 8, 1933 at Lafayette, GA to Ollie and Nora (Frady) Bowman. On June 3, 1950, Pauline was united in marriage to Billie Eaton at Lafayette, GA. Pauline started a dog kennel in Clay Center and later purchased Haven’s First Kennel at Barnes in 1997. Pauline raised 60 different small dog breeds. She also enjoyed gardening and raising flowers. Surviving Pauline are her children, James D. Eaton of Richmond, TX, Hershell E. Eaton of Barnes, Sheila Demars of Riley, Debora (Robert) Garner of Barnes, Anthony (Lori) Eaton of Downs, Randy (Carol) Eaton of Glen Elder; brother, Roy Bowman of Blue Rapids ; seventeen grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her huband, Billie; and sisters, Maudelee Weaver and Bonnie Goodlet. A memorial fund has been established and will be designated by the family at a later date. Contributions may be sent in care of the funeral home.
