Helen E. Wray

Helen Emma Wray, 79, died Friday, June 1, 2007, at the Clay County Medical Center, Clay Center, KS. She was born May 16, 1928 near Clifton to Henry and Emma (Dittmer) Beikmann. On September 24, 1950 she was united in marriage to John D. Wray at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Linn. Helen worked as a card inspector for Hallmark Cards. She is survived by her husband, John; son, Larry Wray and wife Rhoda, Salina; a daughter Juanita Beams and husband Chuck, Salina; two grandchildren, Larry Joe Wray and Jennifer Danielle Wray; sister, Marilyn Killman, Junction City; and a brother Lester Beikmann, Denver, CO. Her funeral service was held at the Zion Lutheran Church at 2:00 pm Tuesday, June 5. Pastor David Gruoner officiated. Burial was in Mound Cemetery, Barnes. Memorials may be made to the Lutheran Hour.
