Patricia Ann Schmitz

Patricia “Patty” Schmitz, 41, Ogden, died May 7, 2007 at her home. She was born November 17, 1965 in Fairbury, NE., the daughter on Verle and Ione Hanenkrat Decker. Patty was a homemaker. Survivors include her father, Verle Decker and wife kay, Hollenberg; two sons, Darren Schmita and wife Trish, Ogden, Matthew Schmitz, Waterville; a daughter Megan Schmitz, Ogden; two brothers, Douglas Decker and wife Julie, Fairbury, and James Decker and wife, Sheila, Beatrice, NE; three sisters, Karen Tremblay and husband Steve, Washington, Janet Merkel, Topeka, and Nancy byrd and husband Ron, Fairbury and one granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ione Decker, two brothers, John and Phillip Decker and a sister Susan Decker. Funeral service was held at 10 am Saturday, May 19, at the Ward Funeral Home, Washington. Lay minister Jill Rettig officiated. Burial was in the Hollenberg City Cemetery.
